We are a multiracial and multicultural Seventh-day Adventist congregation where people from every background are welcome. We believe the Bible is the only source and standard of Christian belief and practice.
Our 28 fundamental beliefs centre on God, humanity, salvation, the church, Christian living and last-day events. Together they tell the story of a gracious God restoring an eternal relationship with humanity through Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures
The Holy Scriptures are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration. They are authoritative, reliable and the standard of character and experience.
The Sabbath
The seventh-day Sabbath was established at creation. In rest and worship we acknowledge God as Creator, Provider and Sustainer.
The Sanctuary
Jesus Christ ministers as High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary and intercedes on humanity’s behalf.
Life, Death and Resurrection
God alone is immortal. The dead await the resurrection at Christ’s return, when God will bring His saving plan to completion.
The Second Coming
The return of Jesus is the blessed hope of believers. His coming will be literal, personal, visible and worldwide.
Stewardship
God entrusts us with time, abilities, opportunities and resources. We respond through faithful service, tithe and generous giving.
The Spirit of Prophecy
The prophetic gift offers comfort, guidance, instruction and correction while affirming the Bible as the standard for teaching and experience.
Whole-person health
We seek physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing that honours God and enables a life of service.
Pastoral leadership
Pastor Trevor Fikoloma
Pastor Trevor Fikoloma serves the Edenvale congregation with the elders and church board. Together they provide spiritual guidance, preaching, pastoral care and administrative leadership.
